In addition to being a therapist, Diane is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was first introduced to “holistic healing” in the mid ’90’s while going through a stressful time. She attended the Ohio Academy of Hypnotherapy in Xenia, Ohio and completed basic and advanced courses, graduating in April 1997 as a certified clinical hypnotherapist and gained membership with the American Board of Hypnotherapy. Diane named her business “Inner Awakenings.”
Later, she was drawn to healing touch and became a certified practitioner in 2001. Her practice evolved into sessions including a combination of hypnosis and healing touch.
While practicing her healing work, Diane earned an associate degree in occupational therapy in 2010 through Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. She has worked in the school setting with developmentally delayed children in all grade levels, a rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing home facilities. She utilizes her knowledge and skills in her work and in her everyday life, especially with her grandson Colton who has Down syndrome.
Diane has returned fully to helping people to heal, overcome problems and achieve goals and higher levels of empowerment naturally — through use of the mind and human energy field. She was inspired to re-name her business “Pinnacle,” meaning a spire; highest point of development or achievement; an experience occurring over a specific time in life; most successful.
Current certification and membership is through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
